CPD Points 30 | Duration 5 Days | £524.00 per delegate
The Care Certificate, which replaces the National Minimum Training Standards and Common Induction Standards, was introduced in March 2015 and all new Healthcare Assistants, Assistant Practitioners and Care Support Workers are recommended to obtain one in their first 12 weeks of employment. The Care Certificate is underpinned by the 6 Cs and sets out the learning outcomes and standards of behaviour expected from these staff groups. The standards it sets out may be actively looked for by CQC inspection teams.
Annie Barr Associates have developed a course to provide the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to become competent in the Care Certificate Standards and thus provide safe, effective and compassionate care.
The training is based around assisting delegates on demonstrating they can meet the 15 Care Certificate Standards:
We also cover an additional standard of our own, Vital Signs, which covers physiological measurements such as manual BP, temperature and respiratory rate.
Please note: We assume that some of the standards such as health and safety will have been covered during your Healthcare Workers induction and therefore they do not form part of the course. If you require them to be covered please contact us.
