Course Introduction

During the course we will discuss the physiological, psychological, social and spiritual aspects of care during the end-of-life time as well as the ‘End of Life Care’ Strategy (EOLC), which was published by the Department of Health in July 2008. Promoting individualised personal care will be central to the outcomes of this course. This course includes case studies and encourages participation.

This course has been developed using the experience of Annie Barr, who has been involved in the development of strategies in Cancer Care for many years and has professional experience of end of life care. Other professionals involved in teaching this course are currently working within palliative care.

You will be allocated 12 CPD points on the completion of the course.

This course is accredited by the Royal College of General Practitioners
